M Top 10: America’s fastest-growing cities
In May, the U.S. Census released its “City and Town Population Totals: 2010-2019” report, and 24/7 Wall St. used this data to formulate which cities were growing the fasts.
The site noted, “Only places with populations over 50,000 were ranked.”
Of the results, it shared, “Not surprisingly, five of the cities are in Texas, which has been the fastest-growing state for years. It is currently the second-largest state by population, at 28,995,881.
That is up 15-percent from 2010 to 2019. Almost 9-percent of the people who live in the United States live in Texas. That puts it behind California, which has a population of 39,512,222.”
