INDEPENDENT FIELD TESTING OF FUEL OX WITH COMBUSTION CATALYST SHOWS IMPROVEMENTS IN FUEL EFFICIENCY, EMISSIONS IN TRUCKS AND HEAVY EQUIPMENT
ASBURY, N.J. (June 16, 2020) – Since becoming available through direct sales and online channels in 2014, The Fuel Ox has amassed numerous testimonials from trucking, marine and heavy equipment operators about substantially improved fuel economy and reduced emissions. Results from recent independent third-party testing of the product adds further fuel to those claims.
Three mining operators in Africa recently completed testing of The Fuel Ox on select tractor-trailers and pumping equipment in their operations, revealing fuel economy improvement ranging from 5 percent to more than 13 percent. Meanwhile globally renowned quality assurance firm Intertek recently studied the impact of The Fuel Ox on the emissions from a diesel-powered pickup truck operating in the United Arab Emirates and found the additive reduced emissions of nitric oxide by more than 12 percent, total nitrogen oxides by more than 6 percent, and carbon dioxide by 20 percent.
“We’ve been gratified to hear from customers in a variety of industries about the positive impact of The Fuel Ox on their trucks, boats and fuel-powered equipment, and we’re proud to share those anecdotes as we bring it to more users,” said Rand Taylor, president of Fuel Ox LLC. “This recent testing builds on those customer success stories, quantitatively showing how The Fuel Ox improves fuel efficiency and reduces emissions.
“If these tests performed on specific equipment can accomplish these results, imagine the impact they can have across entire fleet operations in terms of reduced fuel and maintenance costs and lessened environmental footprint,” Taylor added.
Originally developed for high intensity applications, including U.S. military operations, The Fuel Ox is a multifunctional fuel additive with lubricity agents and detergents. Like other fuel additives, it stabilizes fuel, cleans vital engine components, protects against corrosion and ethanol and removes water. But its proprietary, patented Combustion Catalyst also lowers the combustion point of fuel. This, in turn, maximizes the burn of fuel in the cylinder, improving efficiency and performance while lowering soot and other exhaust emissions that harm both vital engine components and the environment.

Cleaner burning engines substantially lower the need for diesel exhaust fluid, with many users reporting reductions of between 20 percent and 50 percent. Less soot in the exhaust means substantially fewer regenerations to clean out diesel particulate filters, reducing operator and equipment downtime.
Fuel Ox is highly concentrated, with 1 gallon treating up to 10,000 gallons of fuel. It is 100 percent soluble, can be used in all petroleum-based fuels and is available in a variety of sizes and seasonal/application-specific formulas.
