Sourcewell announces newest category in public safety surveillance

Four suppliers have been awarded Sourcewell contracts in Public Safety Video Surveillance Solutions. This category, new to Sourcewell, offers video cameras, including body-worn cameras, dashcams, and mounted cameras for vehicles and watercrafts; recording solutions for interview rooms and holding areas; and related equipment and services, including sensors, monitors, data storage, and more.
“Sourcewell is very excited about the quality and variety of offerings available within this category,” said Sourcewell Contract Administrator Darin Narlock. “From body cameras, interview rooms, weapon-mounted cameras, and more – these contracts have you covered.”
Following a competitive solicitation process, Sourcewell awarded cooperative purchasing contracts offering access to four top brands:
Axon | 010720-AXN
Camera hardware and accessories, including wireless offload servers, controller mounts, and docks; installation and professional services.
Panasonic i-PRO Sensing Solutions | 010720-PAN
Video management, unified evidence management, and redaction software; servers, cameras, recorders, encoders, software, and tech support.
Viridian Weapon Technologies | 010720-LSR
Weapon-mounted and body-worn cameras, weapon lights, firearm and rifle accessories, duty holsters, batteries, and evidence management programs.
WatchGuard Video | 010720-WCH
In-car and body-worn cameras; interview room systems; on-premise, hybrid, and cloud storage solutions; and evidence management software and hardware.
These contracts are now available to all Sourcewell members throughout the United States and Canada. Purchasers from participating agencies – public or nonprofit – save time and money by streamlining the procurement process with cooperative purchasing.
