NTEA’s OEM Monthly Chassis Report Now Includes Commercial Van Data
FARMINGTON HILLS, MI (Dec. 19, 2014) — The NTEA recently added data on monthly production and shipments of commercial vans to its OEM Monthly Chassis Report, which offers analysis into the monthly box-off truck chassis production and shipments data provided by chassis OEMs. “The commercial van addition to the report provides the entire industry with the final piece of market data that has not been included to-date. It will allow a more comprehensive view of the light-duty segment of the market,” said NTEA Director of Market Data and Research Steve Latin-Kasper. “We’re pleased to provide this data to keep companies abreast of market trends in all segments of the work truck industry.”
In addition to the commercial van data, the OEM Monthly Chassis Report features information on commercial chassis shipped and sold in the NAFTA (North American Free Trade Agreement) countries, with data presented by cab type and weight class segment. This report also covers how differences between shipments and sales may lead to inventory accumulation or stretched lead-times. Key statistics and significant findings are brought forward to help work truck industry professionals effectively respond and react to market changes in a timely manner.
Each edition of the OEM Monthly Chassis Report is emailed to NTEA members and is available for free download as a member benefit. A yearly print subscription is also available to members for $79 and to nonmembers for $299. To learn more about this report, visit www.ntea.com/chassisreportoverview or call 1-800-441-6832.
