“The Water Quality Event” of the year, the 87th annual Water Environment Federation Technical Exhibition and Conference, came together Sept. 27–Oct. 1 at the New Orleans Morial Convention Center, New Orleans, La.

The theme of embracing change was made evident in the gathering’s general session and during opportunities for engagement with professional peers; educational sessions that included new research and updates on regulations; training sessions; and in chance to browse the newest tools and services.

The Municipal took part in discussions about the search for solutions to new and ongoing water treatment challenges, a challenge met head on by the Great Water Cities Session. This series of dialogues that WEF spearheaded presented sustainable approaches and afforded the opportunity to share lessons learned from all over the world.
