Minneapolis hosts fleet management
Minneapolis, Minn., Convention Center served as the hub for the largest gathering of fleet managers this year: the NAFA 2014 institute and expo.
From April 8–11, they came together to discuss creative ways to reduce municipal fleet spending and distracted driving; debate the issues surrounding decentralized fleets; discern the best sustainable techniques; plot methods for developing CNG infrastructure; and much more. The event’s intimate atmosphere also afforded managers and directors the opportunity to share those ideas, and their expertise, with the media.
Participants, both municipal and commercial, were also recognized by the organization and a panel of their peers during the annual NAFA awards ceremony that took place opening night. The Municipal Account Executive Chris Smith and Publication Manager Kim Gross were among those who helped recognize top departments for their successes during the previous year.
In 2015 the NAFA Institute and Expo will land in Orlando, Fla. For information as it’s updated, bookmark www.nafainstitute.org.
