Out of 155 cities with a population of 75,000 to 99,000, these had the lowest rates, making them the most crime-free:

5. Newton, Mass. SCORE: 82.39
6. Mission Viejo, Calif. SCORE: 82.07
7. Ramapo, N.Y. SCORE: 81.40
8. Clarkstown, N.Y. SCORE: 78.15
9. Colonie, N.Y. SCORE: 74.49
10. Arlington Heights, Ill. SCORE: 73.41
