“Time to Destination” Feature Will Proactively Improve Traffic Flow in the City

The City of Boston is installing All Traffic Solutions variable message signs using the company’s new cloud-based “Time to Destination” App, DriveTimes^™. These signs will provide drivers with accurate, constantly-updated travel times for custom routes without the need for any fixed speed sensing infrastructure.

By integrating specialized traffic data from TomTom within All Traffic Solutions’ industry-leading connected product platform, DriveTimes delivers unique advantages to high-volume urban environments, where conventional method of gathering high quality travel data is particularly challenging.

The city can quickly configure the signs and easily modify them if necessary in response to changing needs. These signs will initially be placed at points of traffic origin such as hotels, convention center, airport or sports and cultural attractions.
