Bellingham, Massachusetts, October, 2013 –– ACE Group LLC, a leading manufacturer and distributor of equipment and wear parts for the asphalt industry, has completed acquisition of Torwel Industries, formerly a division of Sanweld Industries, Inc.  Located in Bellingham, MA, Torwel Industries has engineered and manufactured high quality commercial and professional salt and sand spreaders since 1946.  ACE Group has manufacturing operations in Minnesota and corporate offices in British Columbia. The Bellingham facility is now called Ace Torwel, Inc.

This acquisition allows ACE Group to expand its market area to New England and the east coast, as well as provide its east coast customers with responsive service from a local, region-based facility.  From its Willmar, MN site, ACE Group now can offer the extensive range of Torwel sanders and snow pushers, further expanding that brand into midwest markets and ACE Torwel are looking for new dealers.  News of this acquisition comes with assurance that customers of both brands will continue to receive superior product support, backed by ACE Group’s commitment to excellent customer service.
