On June 19 and 20 Bonnell Industries, manufacturer of truck and road equipment, hosted its 2013 open house. This event welcomed over 600 people, including The Municipal’s Christi Sausaman, through the doors of its Dixon, Ill., facility and treated them to one-on-one product demonstrations and training sessions with over 30 vendors. There were dozens of today’s snow and ice trucks on display as well as Bonnell’s line of leaf vacuums and road drags. Guests enjoyed a lunch from Fay’s BBQ in Waterman, Ill., a golf outing and 3D Sound of Dixon, Ill., played music and made announcements throughout the day.

President Joe Bonnell, the third generation of Bonnells to run the company, thanked attendees for their support and promised continued quality and innovation from the 53-year-old business. Bonnell Industries was happy to put this event on to get some added face time with its customer base, and it cannot wait for the opportunity to host the next one.
