The Municipal attends APWA: Chicago Metro chapter conference

Schaumburg, Ill., hosted street commissioners, water treatment engineers, asphalt road crews, municipal fleet managers and others to two days of educational sessions led by highly knowledgeable experts and product displays that were set up at the Schaumburg Renaissance Hotel and Convention Center. If you were there, you probably learned a lot — and hopefully had some fun, too, as these guys did during one of the competition portions of the conference.

Five items were intentionally disabled on each of two snowplows, and competitors had five minutes to perform a CDL pre-trip inspection to find and note the malfunctions and to achieve points.
